In the now-demolished left annex of the building at Strażacka 8 (currently Katedralna 13), there was a renowned hall called “Harmonia” (later renamed “Reduta”) on the upper floor, which for many years was rented out for various events, balls, and festivities. During the 1926/27 season, it was converted into a theater. From 1928 to 1930, it housed the Polish theater “Rozmaitości,” after which it became the property of the Jewish sports club “Maccabi.” The hall once again hosted events, Jewish theaters (with performances by the famous Ida Kamińska and her troupe), and cabarets.
